1
He don't get what you deserve.
2
I sound like Batman.
3
Oh no!
4
Are you Batman?
5
No!
6
People would assume that you're a mixed or a halfie.
7
I was a siren boy.
8
When we see family gathering, I was like, Oh, so how's your grade?
9
I had a chip on my shoulder.
10
What's that?
11
In Gen Z term, I felt like I was mid my whole life.
12
Mid in terms of average.
13
I don't do well in school.
14
I don't move well with girls.
15
I didn't do well in sports.
16
I was just kind of there.
17
Nobody in my family life has gotten to Jula.
18
So that was like, I need to do this for myself and for my parents as well.
19
You can take a punch when it comes to saving Townsville.
20
I sound like a clown.
21
My company, JMMTV, is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, that produced this series, this genre.
22
The idea of me in BL series was offered for me like a couple of years ago.
23
I was fortunate to have all the great partners, but this one in particular.
24
Welcome to the show.
25
Hi.
26
How are you doing today?
27
I am very excited to be here, honestly.
28
Thank you so much for coming.
29
It's my pleasure.
30
You've been interviewed before so many times, but today's going to be special because it's to be in full English.
31
Yes.
32
Which I guess you don't get to do that a lot, right?
33
Yeah, that's why I'm like super, super, super excited.
34
Let me tell you a quick story.
35
2024, I post on X.
36
When I was watching one of your podcasts that I said like a bucket list is to do a podcast.
37
And I was thinking specifically about this podcast.
38
And then two years later, here I am.
39
I think at the time you guys have about a hundred something thousand subscribers
40
and now you reach a million it's crazy yeah it's crazy congratulations man oh thank you so much
41
and thank you for wanting to be here um it used to be very hard can you believe
42
that to get a guest on this show no way
43
because yeah a lot of people are like intimidated by the
44
idea of having to speak english for an hour on uh on camera because Well,
45
if we get to talk to someone and we kind of just like chit chat and have a good time, of course we can do that, right?
46
But to talk in English in front of a lot of people who are watching, it could be scary.
47
Very, very scary.
48
Yeah.
49
I'm still scared.
50
I know, me too.
51
But I think at the end of the day,
52
we like to speak English and I think we can inspire people that even though they're not confident to speak English,
53
like for example, Boki, right?
54
She's very brave that she's here.
55
I love her, I love her work.
56
And it's okay to tell that you're nervous. Of course.
57
I'm nervous.
58
Yeah, me too.
59
Same here.
60
But I think this is one of the best ways to force yourself to go through something
61
that you can actually do and fail.
62
And I think it's very important to do those things not just things
63
that you're already comfortable with or things that you know for sure
64
that you can do especially if you want to be better at speaking english of course
65
if you can go back to like my early episodes i'm like a mess
66
and i think i need to go through all those phase in order to get better
67
and i think this is very encouraging and
68
and it's a it's a good thing to like tell people
69
to just just do it right yes yeah it's it's definitely a journey
70
english has helped me a lot along the way and it's such it's so fun eventually and you will
71
feel intimidated you feel insecure yeah
72
but i think you just have to do it yeah yeah
73
so one thing about you that might surprise a lot of people um
74
because i guess looking at you like How tall you are, how you look, and how well you speak English.
75
And of course your name.
76
So people would assume that you're a mixed or a halfie.
77
But actually, you're not.
78
Yeah.
79
I was a sovereign boy.
80
Nakhon Sih Thamarad.
81
You're Thai.
82
You're full Thai.
83
From the South.
84
From the South.
85
From Nakhon Sih Thamarad?
86
Yes.
87
Oh, so...
88
From Nakhon Sih Thamarad.
89
They're Thai?
90
Yes.
91
They're Thai.
92
Yes.
93
and I moved to Bangkok into a bilingual school, which at the time, I didn't,
94
still I wasn't speaking English because I think most of them,
95
most of us are speaking Thai and even we had English class, it was still just for writing,
96
you know, and then I had a chance to move into international school through playing basketball.
97
I see.
98
Yeah.
99
So that's how like my English journey started.
100
But I think I would say like when I was 11, I think I had a memory of a teacher.
101
I think her name, I'm not sure about her name, but I think she's German at the time.
102
I went to an English camp and she was just so nice to me.
103
I think that's the spark that kept me...
104
Eventually when I got into international school, I wanted two things that I knew that I had to do,
105
that I had to get better in English and I had to get better at basketball.
106
Right.
107
So yeah, I think I also have to thank my parents in whatever I did,
108
they supported me.
109
moving from a public school into a private school in Bangkok
110
and then international school was a huge jump
111
and you know obviously a lot of money required sure
112
so I think I was glad that my parents was able to support me
113
and you know didn't hold me back because I think when I was young I was like the game.
114
Oh really?
115
I could remember from the age of 8 to 11, every time that I finished class, I would play computer game in my home.
116
But whenever it's summer or pithem, I would go to internet cafe from 8am to 7pm.
117
My dad would come pick me up.
118
I would eat breakfast at home, go to another cafe, there's me.
119
And then play game, every game, computer game, you could possibly think of, I play it all.
120
Have lunch there, have dinner there, and do it all over again every day.
121
It's tough.
122
And then you kind of found your way by those two things that you mentioned,
123
English and sports, those are two biggest tickets that practically can get you anywhere that you want in life.
124
And you're very lucky that you found sports that you love, and you knew that you love English also,
125
and you need to get better at those too, so you can go places in life, right?
126
Sports, I found it right the way that I...
127
Obviously, I think from playing game, I knew from the young age, when I was young, that I was competitive.
128
I think all of us like getting good at something, right?
129
Yeah.
130
But I think the game, you get so good much faster than real life or in sports or in anything.
131
Yeah.
132
You could play a game and then in that, like RV for example, within 15 minutes, the game is over.
133
But by 10 to 12 minutes, if you play really well, you're already maxed out, right?
134
So the satisfaction of beating the game, completing the game, you get it much faster in real life.
135
So I think that's why I was, and a lot of kids were addicted, because we felt like we have that power.
136
We have that control and we're winning the games.
137
At the time, I still think that if they give me time, they give a certain game, that I could turn pro.
138
I really believe that.
139
Yeah.
140
Yeah.
141
So going back a little to your school years, you were homeschooled, right?
142
When you were very little.
143
After international school, I got into international school about two years from the age of, I think it was 14 to 16.
144
And then I dropped out of international school to pursue university.
145
So the reason why I dropped out was because at the time, obviously, when I was really having fun with playing basketball,
146
playing a lot of tournament in the international school.
147
but then also I was finding my way to compete at the regional level as well as national level.
148
There's one specific tournament that I got to play with Thai school.
149
So basically I had a training camp in the summertime but then three days before the tournament I got injured.
150
I sprained my ankle really bad.
151
So I ended up playing the tournament.
152
I played through the pain, but obviously it didn't go quite as well.
153
I think we got the second place
154
and also I got scored by my school because I went to play for another school and I got hurt.
155
And then at the time,
156
having Lun P that has experience in the professional scene before in Thai basketball league,
157
I realized that the payment is not going to be enough if you want to turn pro.
158
So at the time, my friend found out about, hey, there's a way that you could,
159
I would say it's sort of like a shortcut.
160
You take IGCSE or GED, and then you get a diploma.
161
And then you take, at the time, it was SAT.
162
and then you can go, you can get to university.
163
And I talked to my parents about it.
164
At first, they didn't, they didn't, they wasn't sure, yeah.
165
You're gonna drop out of international school that we sent you all these and then just, what's going on?
166
It's bad news to all parents.
167
Yes.
168
But eventually I convinced them as well as they do their research and okay, there's a way.
169
So they support me fully, which I thank them very much.
170
And I eventually got into Chula.
171
Shout out to Kevin, by the way.
172
He's my teacher.
173
I see.
174
All right.
175
He's the reason that I got into Chula for sure.
176
So what did you do at the time?
177
You just dropped out.
178
You mean you just stopped going to school and then you studied by yourself.
179
And then what did you do when I dropped out?
180
I knew that I had to get five subjects.
181
I think it was Thai, English, math, and two other science.
182
So I picked physics.
183
Physics.
184
Physics, yeah.
185
There you go. And biology.
186
Wow, okay.
187
And then I took that, got my diploma.
188
That wasn't that hard because, like, if you're talking about IGCSE and GED, it's about, like, education.
189
Okay.
190
So the hard part was SAT.
191
And I remember taking it at first and my score wasn't going up.
192
And I had about six to eight months left.
193
That's where I found Kevin through his brother, because at the time I was playing basketball with his brother.
194
And then he recommended Kevin to me and then I went to study with him.
195
And I remember that time it was one of the really memorable time of my life
196
because i had to study a lot
197
and for me i was the long the whole time yeah i i only study
198
when i like the teacher or i like the subject
199
but this one it was very important to me because i knew that my my parents they supported me
200
and they gave me green lights to do this and all they want is for me to get into Jula.
201
Back in our family at the time,
202
getting to Jula was a big deal and nobody in my family life has gotten to Jula.
203
So that was like, I need to do this for myself and for my parents as well.
204
So it was six months of waking up, do a test, one test lasts about two or three hours,
205
review it, have lunch, and then do another test, go home and read about like,
206
try to memorize about 100 and 150 word capillaries a day.
207
It's all gone now.
208
Were you stressed?
209
At the time, hell yeah.
210
Because I took it about three times SAT when the first and the second result came out.
211
It wasn't quite enough to get into Jula.
212
So the third one was like kind of like my last chance.
213
If not, I have to wait another year or I could go to another university.
214
But you did get in.
215
I made it.
216
Yeah.
217
Right.
218
So tell me about the moment that you learned that you finally made it.
219
Oh, tears, obviously.
220
And just tears of happiness and knowing how hard you work.
221
And I never work hard with study.
222
With sports, yes, you can just run, you know, if your tires keep running.
223
But study is more like a mental thing.
224
And it was really difficult for me to pay attention as long as I was at the time.
225
Yeah, I think your goal was big enough for you and meaningful enough.
226
So that's how you did it.
227
Absolutely.
228
And also I think I had a chip on my shoulder.
229
I think it was about nine, eight, ten at the time.
230
When we see a family gathering, I was like, oh, so how's your grade?
231
And at the time, I average about 3.5.
232
And for elementary school or middle school,
233
you have to get 4.0 or you are nothing compared to others.
234
So I would hate to go to the family gathering just
235
because they will ask about my grades yeah
236
so I think we all can relate to all those yeah
237
and you know the the questions from all the yard all the relatives
238
and you're expected to like deliver and you're gonna be the best yeah
239
and you are compared with other cut your cousin which
240
when you are like with your cousin just want to play around
241
and have fun right yeah we hate
242
that we had to be like compared uh in
243
that way all the time i think deep down i knew
244
that i didn't i didn't want to let my parents down
245
because they they spent quite a bit amount on me yeah yeah
246
so yeah that that's a huge extra motivation right but that's great that's great you finally got in Nhi Thết, right?
247
Yeah.
248
Yeah, Yomai Ruy Nong.
249
Oh, really?
250
Yeah.
251
But back then, there was no international program yet in my time, but you got into the international program and studying what?
252
Anything from consumer behavior, PR,
253
journalism, even a little bit of acting and performance.
254
Right.
255
Yeah, I just remember a lot of times I would would not go to class if there's no attendance checking.
256
I would call my friends, I would have a really huge bag and call my friends and they're like, oh, I'll check too, if not, I'll just go to the gym.
257
Yeah, I would have to say that, the typical Nithet students, because a lot of my friends are not like that at all,
258
but I'm just like you.
259
I was back then, it was like, we studied so hard to get in, and then once we get in, we chill.
260
Yeah, and we'll pick the subject that we like, right?
261
And it will go all in.
262
Exactly.
263
And a lot of the time, it's just .
264
The first year was fun.
265
What did you do?
266
That's how I developed a love for cosplay.
267
I like to, you know, there's a lot of dressing up with a theme, right?
268
It's called .
269
Oh, yeah.
270
And acting too?
271
Did it start back then?
272
I had a chance to do a musical on my second year.
273
It turned out to be the best class that I had of all my university life.
274
But at the time, I didn't like it as much because it was hard.
275
Yeah, yeah.
276
So most of the time, I think you still play a lot of sport, especially basketball, right?
277
You're still doing basketball?
278
I started from basketball, then I stopped to just getting to the gym, you know, to build muscle and stuff.
279
And then I think from the age of 26, I did compete in boxing for a year, year and a half.
280
And then, like, recently I just got back to play basketball again.
281
Were you scouted back then?
282
Because obviously you're a great looking guy, you're tall, right?
283
Thank you.
284
So did you get scouted?
285
A little bit.
286
I did quite amount of casting back in the day,
287
in advertising when I was in international school and a little bit of college.
288
But when I was studying for July, I didn't do as much.
289
But then I had a chance to kind of like do it again during university, my freshman year.
290
Second year I was in Duman Bì crew sure yeah with the youtube
291
and facebook did a little bit it's mostly like it's like mc not much of an c
292
but pretty cool like uh-huh so how did you get into uh dumundi
293
because i'm pretty sure a lot of people knew you from dumundi right yeah yeah
294
so i was doing a quite a bit of casting
295
and i made a friend and connection with that
296
and then they said like they want to create a page yeah
297
if i was interested and they gave out the idea
298
and I just at the time just I just try it out
299
and then it stick
300
so yeah okay how was the experience overall oh it was fun for sure
301
because uh I made money as well even though it wasn't quite a lot yeah
302
and then for from having allowance from your parents
303
and then to make the money of your own you you had that satisfaction and I learned a lot and
304
I didn't in Gen Z term, I felt like I was mid my whole life.
305
Right.
306
Mid in terms of average.
307
I don't do well in school.
308
I don't do well with girls.
309
I didn't do well in sports.
310
I was just kind of there, but have fun.
311
Obviously, I wasn't like top of my game, off top of my class the whole time.
312
But then I was when I was doing Du Mandi, I think there was there's people starting believing me,
313
telling me that, hey, if you work hard and you take care of yourself, you can look good, you can look better.
314
So I think but it it was quite difficult at the same time
315
because obviously there's going to be opinion of people online of what you should look like.
316
And then you deal with that and then you obviously me, I tend to think a lot.
317
So I would take this comments or criticism from my run-pee
318
and then I would take it personally and then made me feel like I wasn't good enough.
319
But it didn't affect me in the sense that I stopped trying.
320
I knew I wasn't good enough.
321
That's why I kept trying.
322
Right.
323
So it didn't like that kind of thinking didn't hurt you like per se, but it kind of drives you into getting better.
324
Yes.
325
But I would say that eventually I realized that it was quite toxic to get validation from others.
326
And it's a skill too.
327
I had to learn in a hard way.
328
I had to learn that to accept myself from who I really am, from what I like and who I want to be, what kind of values do I have.
329
There were times where it didn't quite go well with others or people who look after me, who try to think this is,
330
oh, this is the best things for you.
331
And I had to go separate way with them because obviously I think I want to take control of my life.
332
Yeah.
333
So learning it the hard way could be the worst experience, but it could turn out to be the best one too.
334
Absolutely.
335
Because how else would you learn?
336
Because if you can just learn from other people telling you their stories, you wouldn't feel it, right?
337
learning from your own experience and all the hardship that you have to go through and Trying to survive all those right?
338
Yeah, so basically it's like you Trying to help yourself out of those unpleasant situation What else did you do?
339
Did you talk to anybody?
340
Did you learn from any books any?
341
Mentors, I'm a YouTube kid.
342
Yeah, I can I watch a lot of movies there that's
343
how I learned English you know a lot of podcasts I learned
344
and then nowadays I start to attract people
345
that are much older than me but also have a lot of wisdom
346
so I think I have great role models now
347
but then before it was more of like from a podcast
348
or on YouTube yeah tell us about your daily routine I want to know
349
because looking at you obviously you take great care of yourself.
350
You keep learning your English, you hang out with great friends and of course you do sports all the time.
351
You work out.
352
What does your day look like?
353
It has changed quite a bit.
354
I think my fitness journey has come a long way
355
and there's a lot of information that I thought I was right
356
and I had to change it completely because of the new research you know intermittent fasting i used to do keto
357
uh i used to do one meal a day diet yeah all the experiments
358
that we had to go through except vegan i did vegan
359
and vegetarian for a week and i couldn't do it
360
because it was tough yeah yeah my daily is right now uh i try to
361
when when i wake up obviously make bed make my bed drink water Do you wake up early?
362
Are you a morning person?
363
It's 8 early?
364
Quite, yeah, I have to say.
365
Yeah.
366
Because of course, we keep hearing about like, if you want to do great in life, you have to wake up at 5 a.m.
367
Yeah, I was that dude too.
368
I was that dude too.
369
There was time where I remember I used to have filming
370
and I was wake up before because I heard Kevin Hart
371
and Dwayne The Rock Johnson did it that they wake up at 4 a.m., work out and go to set.
372
So I did that for like a period of time and then I soon to realize that is not healthy at all.
373
You can if you want, right?
374
I think people can function with five to six hours a day of sleep, but I think sleep is one of the most, if not the most important thing.
375
So I wake up- So how many hours do you usually get?
376
About seven to nine.
377
That's great.
378
Yeah.
379
Yeah.
380
That's ideal.
381
That's ideal.
382
So I think, and try to get to bed at the same time.
383
I try to prioritize my sleep more and drink water, try to go for a walk,
384
which is really hard with the… I know, yeah, with all these PM 2.5 thing.
385
So I would try not to be on my phone the first hour.
386
Very difficult, I might say.
387
Sometimes I give in.
388
Because we have excuses, right?
389
Yeah, I gotta check emails, I gotta check the text, or maybe it's urgent call, I gotta work.
390
But to me, I find it my mood is much better if I don't touch my phone for the first, and as long as possible, right?
391
Because, okay, you check your text, you work and everything, and now, oh, next thing you know, Instagram.
392
Oh, next thing you know, TikTok.
393
And then you keep just scrolling mindlessly, and next thing you know, you feel like crap, and you wonder why.
394
I was fortunate to listen to a lot of health podcasts.
395
You can talk about fitness, health with me the whole day.
396
So you choose to do that, like listening to a great podcast instead of scrolling your phone, right?
397
Yes.
398
That's great.
399
Yeah.
400
And even now, I think I used to do that a lot more.
401
Now I do it less.
402
I try to quote unquote waste my time, but just sit still and really be with my own thoughts.
403
I have been trying to do meditation more.
404
I think it's very helpful.
405
Just five to 10 minutes a day, at any time if you want, just be in with your own thought and be aware.
406
Because a lot of times we just keep moving forward.
407
And even like we would, I would listen to three podcasts a day, but I didn't remember a thing.
408
So I think it's important that you maybe listen to it and then think about it to process it.
409
And reflect on it.
410
Yeah, that's great.
411
Yeah.
412
Recently, I've been trying to learn Japanese.
413
Oh, really?
414
Wow.
415
Yeah, because very recent though, because I've watched a lot of anime, so I might as well like understand what they're saying yeah
416
so yeah um
417
and then ideally i would want to play sports in the
418
evening with my friends just to hang out you know play basketball
419
and then that's it yeah sounds like a great day sounds like a great thing yeah
420
if you can keep having these kind of days of course i think you you'll be very happy
421
and i'm very lucky my career
422
if you have a lot of free time you have a lot of free time
423
So I think it's I've been blessed to have that since I was young.
424
You know, I dropped out of high school to do like to go to private school tutoring.
425
I had a lot of time in my pocket and I think you really had to learn to use it wisely.
426
Because if you had a lot, you might waste it on playing games and,
427
you know, just watching and for entertainment, which is fine.
428
I think it's good to wind down at the end of the day.
429
You should indulge sometimes.
430
Do what you want.
431
Yeah, but I think a lot of times I would...
432
I just finished Game of Thrones, eight seasons in less than 15 days.
433
Binging.
434
And then during Christmas to I think New Year, I didn't do anything.
435
I was just binging.
436
And I enjoy it, don't get me wrong.
437
But when it was over, especially how the last season ended, I was like, what am I going to do with my life?
438
Yeah, because you almost got sucked into those worlds, right?
439
And then you were amazed.
440
You want to be in that character.
441
Then you came back.
442
And at the end of vacation, you went to a trip in Japan or a beach for a couple days.
443
And then that last day that it hit
444
that you all like we are the back to the real world back to reality.
445
So yeah, you really have to be careful about that.
446
I think.
447
Yeah.
448
So your real world, your profession, your career is acting, right?
449
You're an actor.
450
And tell us about your acting career right now.
451
Right now, I'm in, I think my fifth or entering six years, I feel like I just starting to get a hold of it.
452
Yeah.
453
When I start off, I was more, I consider myself more as like a student athlete, right?
454
Discipline.
455
Oh, if I want to get fitter, I got to run, got to work out.
456
It's very easy to understand.
457
But acting, when I first started the couple series, the couple of con, it was very difficult because,
458
oh, you got all the lines, memorize all the lines.
459
You got to cry.
460
All right.
461
Okay.
462
How do I cry?
463
There's so many cameras.
464
Your heart is beating out your chest.
465
And three, two, one, you got to say the line.
466
When you say the line, you have to, oh my God, it was nightmare.
467
I remember crying to my dad on the phone because I didn't,
468
I wasn't sure if I can do this because I wasn't sure if I was good enough.
469
And I think I was blessed with a huge opportunity.
470
I think my company GMMTV, they saw something in me,
471
you know, they thought that I have a potential and they took a risk on me.
472
So that was very, very important to me that my dad said, like, you just have to keep going.
473
Right.
474
And eventually, just like anything that you do in life, you fail over and over and over again.
475
And then you start to get a little bit better at it.
476
And you start to get a hold of it.
477
And you start to analyze what you did wrong and then try to go to classes and a couple more fails,
478
fails, fails, failures and then here I am.
479
I think Gemini said you got a chan man, right?
480
You got a chan man sometimes.
481
A lot of times in acting because let's say they're, I think it's Thai actor and actress.
482
We are in a very unique environment that we have,
483
let's say me and you are going to a scene that we have to flirt with each other, have to be relaxed.
484
But we are competing with time oh, we only have 15 minutes left for this scene.
485
But you got to smile and you got to be relaxed and you got to be natural.
486
Even though they have like all these cameras and all the lines are like this long.
487
So it was really, really challenging and still challenging to this day, I think.
488
But I think it's more now I understand it's more about understanding the character,
489
understanding the whole scene, approach it as like you are a detective.
490
ask a lot of questions and just when you get into a scene just take a deep breath, focus.
491
Don't focus on yourself and focus on others.
492
Listen to others and you know the magic lines will come.
493
That's what I've realized.
494
And I think I was fortunate as well to be a part of such a great actress.
495
You know, on my second, my first La Khoa, my second series, I was pairing up with Hinun Walnut.
496
She's a big star.
497
She's a big star.
498
She's talented too.
499
Very.
500
And I grew up watching her.
501
So when I found out and I had to act with her,
502
first time I was meeting her, I was super nervous.
503
You felt intimidated?
504
Like, oh man, how do I match with this talent?
505
Yeah, I don't know what to do because I didn't get it yet.
506
The last series that I did...
507
You were still very new too.
508
Very new.
509
I still like, oh damn, I wish I could have done it better.
510
But I think she was very kind to me and she was very patient.
511
And she did everything she could to make me feel like I'm not pressured, that I'm home.
512
And she was like one of the biggest reasons that I got through it.
513
And eventually, you know, we finished the project and it turned out to be really well.
514
Yeah.
515
Yeah.
516
It was very nice of her.
517
Very professional of her.
518
She's my piece out, JD.
519
Yeah.
520
You're very fortunate.
521
Yeah.
522
Right.
523
And you're coming out with, right now, a new series too.
524
Yes.
525
Which you get to play a vampire.
526
Yes, I do.
527
This is very exciting too.
528
Yeah, but before we get to that, I want to ask you about your dream roles.
529
Do you have any?
530
Or do you see yourself that,
531
okay, one day I might want to play that or I want to reach this point in my acting career? For sure.
532
Definitely period.
533
Really?
534
I think I'm Thai and I have to build and it will be fun and I think after watching Game of Thrones,
535
right, a lot of history, character, fictional character would be fun to act.
536
And also any role, any movie that I get to speak English, that is my goal.
537
Ah, very interesting.
538
Because we don't, well, we don't have a lot, I mean, by Thai production,
539
because we have no need to produce series or dramas in English, right?
540
Because main audience is still Thai.
541
But if you get to play a role, and that needs to speak English,
542
that would be the best, right?
543
Yeah.
544
I think...
545
What kind of role do you have in mind?
546
Honestly, I haven't thought about the role that much, because any opportunity that I would get an English speaking role would be huge already for me.
547
So I think there's a...
548
People have done it already.
549
There's one called the...
550
I'm not sure I get the name right.
551
Sorry, I get it wrong.
552
Under the Umbrella Sky or something, it was a crossover between Thai actor and Philippine actress.
553
It was one of my friends who was a director his name is Richard
554
and the actor was Win Meita Win so I watched
555
that I enjoyed it very much
556
and said okay this is a great start for us actors
557
to do a crossover between I think it's a love story between Thai
558
and the Philippines collaboration yeah yeah and it's done in English
559
and of course uh we have a lot of international fans uh with all the uh theory why
560
which is like huge huge yeah like globally so that
561
that could really happen yeah it might uh come your way some someday in the future
562
and oh i'd love to see
563
that yeah let's get a glimpse of what could happen in the future
564
so let's play a little game so we've got some of the most iconic uh and famous lines
565
from of course a famous and popular series and movies
566
so uh i would love for you to say all these
567
lines like try to okay sure yeah i love impersonating yeah
568
but i'm very bad at it okay but we'll try let's see let's see
569
if you can if you can do it okay
570
so you have some um lines in your hands right now you can yeah choose
571
which one you want to go buy first all right let's let's go with the the lousy one first.
572
The lousy one?
573
What do you mean?
574
This is Rick Sanchez for Rick and Morty.
575
Ah, okay.
576
It's my favorite show.
577
Morty, good music comes from people who are relaxed.
578
Just hit a button, Morty.
579
Right.
580
Okay.
581
Excuse me.
582
Morty!
583
Morty, you gotta do it for me, Morty.
584
You gotta get thrifty.
585
I don't know I nailed it.
586
Great job!
587
Alright!
588
So obviously you have to know the character so you can impersonate them.
589
Channel their being into your body.
590
I have no confidence in it at all but I'm just gonna wing it.
591
See how it goes.
592
What do you have?
593
Tyrion Lannister.
594
Ah, okay.
595
I wish I was the monster you think I am.
596
Let me tell you something, Jon Snow.
597
Never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not.
598
Wear it like an armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.
599
Grab some wine.
600
Everything is better with some wine in the belly.
601
Are you great with accents?
602
I like to do it alone, but I don't think I'm great.
603
And for Thai series as well, have you ever done any different accents in your Thai acting?
604
Oh yes, I did.
605
I did sound accents.
606
That was very easy for me, but the period would be hard.
607
The way they talk, the words they use, right?
608
Very, very formal.
609
Yeah.
610
Okay.
611
Next.
612
James Bond.
613
Welcome a martini.
614
Shaken, not stirred.
615
Do you like James Bond?
616
I do, I do.
617
Alright.
618
The name is Bond.
619
James Bond.
620
Not here to make friends.
621
He'll start the villain.
622
And maybe, just maybe, save the world. But first, Martini.
623
Chicken, I'm still alive.
624
I don't think I nailed that one.
625
Okay.
626
Oh, this is one of my favorites as well.
627
What is that?
628
Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blind.
629
Five million dollars, Mr. Nelson.
630
And that is a legacy.
631
All right.
632
He's great.
633
Yeah.
634
I'm probably gonna screw this.
635
You don't get what you deserve.
636
I sound like Batman. Are you Batman?
637
No. You get what you take.
638
I can't, I'm sorry, Killian.
639
I'm sorry.
640
Yeah.
641
The way he talks is very unique and special.
642
Yeah, because he speaks such a raspy, in a gypsy accent.
643
Right.
644
So you can only see the accent when he speak up a little bit.
645
I think this particular sentence, not that I can do the normal one, but it's really difficult.
646
Yeah.
647
Oh my god.
648
What's he got?
649
Bubble.
650
What?
651
First the professor, then buttercup, and now Blossom.
652
That's it.
653
It's on.
654
Oh, this is very challenging.
655
Yeah.
656
I'm Bubbles.
657
I may be the cute one, but don't let that fool you.
658
I can pack a punch when it comes to saving Townsville.
659
I don't know.
660
I sound like a clown from that movie.
661
It.
662
Yeah.
663
Hi, Georgie.
664
So how would you feel if you get to portray a character that is super different from who you are?
665
It would be a great challenge.
666
I think one of the things that I like about Germany's anime is that they really, they are very serious about voice actors and actress.
667
Yeah, for sure.
668
And you can really feel the emotion.
669
I cried so many times watching animes, more than I watch series.
670
I can admit that.
671
They're so talented, those voice actors.
672
I think that's one of the things maybe in the future with AI, creating maybe Thai.
673
I don't have to act in Thai period, Lakhon.
674
It can be just a Thai cartoon.
675
I do a voice actor, that would be great.
676
Alright, last one.
677
Edward Cullen, Twilight.
678
Wouldn't be like drinking your blood, for instance.
679
Not sure.
680
Oh, I'm not afraid of you.
681
I'm only afraid of losing you.
682
No, it's just me doing low voice.
683
So that's you being a vampire, but by other people's character.
684
Yeah, but you will have to be a vampire by like your own definition.
685
So what kind of vampire are we talking about in this series?
686
In this series?
687
Yeah.
688
Which is called My Golden Blood, right?
689
Yes.
690
So My Golden Blood is a love story between a vampire and a human who has a special blood.
691
My character is very very calm but
692
when it comes eventually he will have a a character development where he started to have feelings again.
693
All the sensation that he used to have when he was a human.
694
And he fell in love with this human and then he would do everything to protect him.
695
Even it cost his own life.
696
It's romance and drama.
697
Romance and drama.
698
With a little bit of fantasy.
699
Yeah.
700
Not much like vampire thinking honestly.
701
But it's a very, very new concept of vampire.
702
I think it's very modern.
703
And it's a BL too.
704
Yes.
705
So who you get to play with?
706
Shout out to Gawin Kasky.
707
Gawin Kasky.
708
Tell us about Gawin.
709
He's great.
710
He's like me in a sense that we really want to, we are very professional with our work.
711
we know that the opportunity that we get is very rare.
712
So we don't take it for granted.
713
So when it comes to work, doing homework, character searching, we talk a lot.
714
And I think I'm very fortunate he's half American.
715
So he's also very international as well he speaks english
716
and he loves basketball so yeah it's just like that
717
and i've been a fan of him like for quite a bit
718
because he's a really good uh he is very talented singer
719
he did a lot of song for my series as well
720
so i knew him before we got actually got to work together oh okay but then
721
when he we came to audition for a part yeah we
722
just right there you know obviously my company GMMTV is one of the biggest,
723
if not the biggest company that produced this series, this genre.
724
So I was, the idea of me in BL series was already like offered for me like a couple years ago.
725
Because, you know, and I was offered like a little, like maybe one or two or three series before, But I turned it down and,
726
you know, I, because I wanted to, two things, I wanted to really, just like any other series, I want to make sure that I really like the plot.
727
And I want to make sure that, especially in this, you know, genre, you need a great partner.
728
Right.
729
You know, I was fortunate to, you know, have all the great partners, but this one in particular,
730
We probably have to work and be together for a very long time.
731
So I'm very glad it's him.
732
Yeah, and we cannot wait to see you guys together putting on a great show
733
and a great acting and great stories for us to enjoy.
734
And yeah, it's coming pretty soon and you can just be on alert, right?
735
Yeah.
736
Yeah, alright.
737
So thank you so much for coming and it's been almost an hour that we've been talking.
738
And yeah, I really enjoy our time talking together.
739
Me too.
740
And I can tell that you're gonna do great things in the future.
741
Yeah, so wish you all the luck and I hope you will come back to the committee and yeah, tell us some stories.
742
Really?
743
Yeah, I'll come back.
744
I'll come back for sure.
745
Yeah, of course.
746
All right.
747
So before we go, of course, I want to know what your committee might be, because that's the name of our show.
748
And we believe in the power of words, words that work with your mentality, words that can guide you through life.
749
So any favorite words or quotes that you want to share with us in both Thai and English?
750
I've been thinking about it a lot.
751
I think the words, can I have two?
752
Sure, please.
753
So it's two Ps.
754
It's patient and perspective.
755
From the last few years, I had to stick with these words a lot.
756
It teach me a lot to be patient and just keep working on my craft, just don't care much about result.
757
If I have a great support with my family and my friends, I should be okay.
758
And a lot of times with my line of work, we have to wait.
759
And I think as long as you are working towards something and bettering yourself every day,
760
you just need to be patient and put things in perspective.
761
Because a lot of times you might think that you're unlucky or bad things are happening to you.
762
But I think looking it at a different perspective can really help you a lot
763
And I would say Thai word would mean it sounds a bit cliche, but I like Sati.
764
Sati.
765
Yeah, because I it teach it it helped me That's what Pee Nun taught me.
766
Mie sati.
767
Mie sati k k kon yu tong naa.
768
Mie sati k k tut kuk yang.
769
Because a lot of times, you know, there's a I think smartphone can lure us, it's drag us to to not being with ourselves. So yeah.
770
And all of the invention, I think the Japanese word, I like Kuntim from the episode Kintsugi.
771
I really like that.
772
Because it's such a human thing, right?
773
To, if we have like bad past or bad experience,
774
the concept of Kintsugi is just molded by experience and by pain and you are much better now because of it.
775
And I think a lot of the bad times in my life, I look back and it made me who I am today.
776
And I think all those bad times built, had helped me build a strong character that I'm very proud of today.
777
So those are all great words.
778
And we appreciate your coming here and being here and talking to us, telling us your stories.
779
And thank you so much once again for joining us today at Comedee, Josh.
780
My pleasure, thank you so much.
781
The Thank
782
you you
