Gravity, or gravitational force, is a non-contact force.

It acts at a distance.

It is an attraction, or pull, between any two objects with mass mass.

The greater the mass of an object, the greater its force of gravity.

The magnitude of gravity is also affected by distance.

The further objects are apart, the weaker the force of gravity between them.

So the closer objects are to each other, the stronger their gravitational pull force of attraction.

The Sun's gravity keeps all of the planets in orbit around it.

Earth's gravity is what keeps you on its surface and what makes things fall to the ground.
