1
I'm in London, in Covent Garden, the best place to shop for beauty products and today is the very first ever KJH Academy coffee walk.
2
These bags are partially filled with goodies that the 10 guests
3
that I'm about to meet with are gonna get
4
and then I'm gonna go with them to all of our favourite beauty shops, Glossier, NARS, Space & K, maybe more and I'm gonna help shade match people in real time, ask questions in real time,
5
without the barrier of social media.
6
And I can't wait!
7
Let's go!
8
Oh that made me dizzy okay
9
We're here, first stop, NARS Cosmetics.
10
Just a little bit of background of why I chose NARS to be one of these brands
11
that I reached out to was back when I used to work at Space NK in 2012.
12
It was one of my favorite brands that I would always use.
13
And I think from a complexion category standpoint, it's one of my favorites that I will always go back to.
14
And so I want you to touch and play and feel.
15
Leaving those natural shadows just under the lash line
16
and above the lash line actually makes it look even more natural but you could even go heavier.
17
So, like, you can go here, like, even up here.
18
And this area actually is the best place to play if you're trying to get more volume.
19
We just left NARS, everybody got some goodies,
20
I gave some one-on-one personal little anecdotes and tips and things like that and now we're off to Gossier.
21
We're going to shade match everybody for foundation and concealer.
22
So fun fact about this building, this is a listed building and these things on the walls are
23
because they weren't actually allowed to screw anything to the walls directly.
24
Fun fact, bet you didn't know that.
25
This is how I would shave match myself, just to let you guys have a sort of feel of it.
26
I would just take out a little bit.
27
I would always just put it on the back of my hand, mix it with your finger first.
28
and then just try it in a few different places on the face
29
because we're different here than we are here than we are here.
30
Your eyebrows are unbelievable.
31
Thank you.
32
My pride and joy.
33
Tuck it in, blend the edges, leave it alone.
34
Oh my gosh.
35
Aww.
36
We just left Glossier, we're on our way to Space & K.
37
That was so fun.
38
I got to put eyeliner on people, I got to put foundation for people.
39
We're gonna do more of these, I think.
40
Everywhere in the world.
41
Yeah, it's so special to me because this is where I started my career in 2009, I think.
42
I worked on High Street Kensington and Westbourne Grove.
43
This store is so gorgeous and brand new and lovely and I encourage you to go nuts.
44
I kinda went in like very like stampy as opposed to like that.
45
If you go in under, you're gonna go wider with your brush.
46
So then you're dragging it down.
47
Great.
48
And that's a wrap on the first ever KTH Academy coffee walk in Covent Garden, London.
49
People are a blast, people got so much gorgeous, gorgeous products from T'Race K, Gorsier, NARS.
50
Keep your eyes peeled for the next one.
