1
So everybody's ultimately looking to be successful in this life.
2
And the kalima itself, la ilaha illallah, it's the kalima of ikhlas, meaning it's the kalima of iman.
3
So what I wanted to do with this episode is to actually break it down, decode it.
4
Because the whole concept of dunya decoded is to really understand what we're doing here.
5
Because ultimately we're here to be tested.
6
What is that test and what does it begin with? begins with learning how to see, to understand clearly how to see.
7
Dunya is based on mushahada.
8
It's the world of perception.
9
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, what does he say?
10
He says, That Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created us.
11
He talks about creation.
12
In surah al-insan, it's the surah of the human being.
13
And then he breaks it down himself.
14
He said we created you to test you.
15
نبتليه Okay, what's the medium of the test?
16
What's the platform?
17
How are we going to be tested?
18
فجعلناه سميعا بصيرا Meaning you're tested with what you see in this life, with what you hear in this life.
19
Because this dunya is based on مشاهدة, perception, the آخرة is based on what?
20
The unseen.
21
And إيمان is always linked to غيب, the unseen.
22
Those who believe in the unseen system of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
23
The majority of people, they're caught up with what?
24
The zahir of the dunya, the outwardly manifest of this dunya.
25
So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, what does he say?
26
He says, They're heedless.
27
They're absolutely ghafil or heedless from what's happening in the akhira, in the unseen system of Allah.
28
What is Iman?
29
Billahi, he's ghaib.
30
Wa malaikatihi, they're ghaib.
31
So we have to understand as part of this, all the arkan of Iman, to understand what this ghaib represents.
32
So we say, Iman, one of the definitions is,
33
تَكْذِيب النَّذَر وَتَصْدِيقِ الْخَبَرِ Whenever negating what you perceive and affirming what Allah tells you in the Quran,
34
whenever what you see doesn't align with whatever Allah told you.
35
Ya as-salam.
36
Ya as-salam alaykum ya Usama.
37
All right guys, that was a huge, amazing, beautiful intro for Decoding Iman.
38
This is Daya Aliyan and this is Usama Ash-Shurafa.
39
We are in Dunia Decoded podcast.
40
We are here to decode this dunia.
41
Each one of us Usama is trying to be successful.
42
Absolutely.
43
Each one of us really wants to know where does he stand in Iman?
44
What's the level of Iman he's at?
45
To know exactly where's the problem and fix it.
46
So we are here to?
47
Decode Iman.
48
Decode it.
49
We gotta decode this, Osama.
50
We gotta decode it, Osama.
51
Let's break it down.
52
Let's do it.
53
It's like you gotta hack it pretty much.
54
We do, bro.
55
And we're the hackers today.
56
There would be a problem if somebody got up today after this podcast and he did not know where he exactly stands.
57
So we want to make sure we know where we stand with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
58
Is that it?
59
And I like the word decoded because it makes it feel like this dunya is encrypted.
60
And you need the key, like the decryption key, right?
61
And what is that?
62
And it's very interesting that the kalima begins with negation.
63
Whenever, you know, back in California or Canada, when someone would become Muslim and you'd give him the shahada,
64
The first thing you tell him is say repeat after me and he repeats what does he repeat?
65
Ash-hadu An la ilaha illallah Wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah you pretty much bitlaqnu you give him the kalima
66
And he repeats it and he becomes a Muslim But
67
if you really look at this kalima and how it begins it's very interesting
68
Because it's like ash-hadu doesn't just mean to bear witness that Allah is one But ash-hadu also means to perceive
69
Like when you bring witnesses in court What do you bring?
70
Witnesses are gonna witness And what do you say?
71
You say I bear witness That there is no God
72
but Allah Okay beautiful But what's very interesting Is
73
that the first part of the kalima has two parts It's la ilaha illallah
74
But it's fascinating for me bro That it begins with negation Yani Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala What is he telling you?
75
It started la ilaha Exactly
76
Ash-had what you perceive It's not really happening from there You have to understand how to see
77
and look at this world You can't just look at it with your sight You need insight
78
Insight comes from the heart And the heart is the container I typically tell people there are three containers The mind,
79
where you have information Mashallah, the stomach, where we We have too much food
80
Who killed me with all the food we're eating during this trip It's amazing though, mashallah All this food, this is where it's at That's the container of food
81
The heart is the container of noor And noor Noor You always have something beautiful, Usama, you say about noor in the Quran Yes,
82
where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in surah al-shura
83
He defines it for us Because we're talking about iman You want to decode iman?
84
What is iman?
85
People say, I need to increase my iman What does it mean to want to increase your iman?
86
Allah says, He says So iman is what?
87
Noor It's noor And what does noor allow you to do?
88
It allows you to see But it's a different type of seeing A very different Ya Haritha
89
كيف أصبحت يا حارثة Rasool Allah ﷺ is asking a sahabi How did you wake up this morning?
90
What's your state today?
91
قال أصبحت مؤمنا حقا يا رسول الله
92
He says I woke up as a true believer with true iman Rasool Allah ﷺ what does he say?
93
لِكُلِّ قَوْلٍ حَقِيقَةً فَمَا حَقِيقَةُ قَوْلِكَ What's the reality of what you're telling me?
94
He's testing him.
95
He wants to check in.
96
And then Haritha says, عَزَفَتْ نَفْسِي عَنِ الدُّنْيَا He says, I'm no longer interested that much in this dunya.
97
He says, فَأَسْهَرْتُ لَيْلِي I'm awake at night in worship to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
98
وَأَذْمَأْتُ نَهَارِي And then, what is it?
99
I'm spending my days fasting to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, totally consumed in his akhira.
100
So then, what does he tell him?
101
Very interesting.
102
Here he says, وَكَأَنِّي أَنْضُرُ إِلَىٰ عَرْشِ رَبِّي بَارِزًا He says, and it's as if, this is very important,
103
because you don't see the throne of Allah with your eyes.
104
He says, وَكَأَنِّي أَنظُرُوا It's as if I'm seeing the throne of Allah manifest.
105
وَأَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ يَتَزَاوَرُونَ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ يَتَعَاوُونَ He's seeing what with the nur of his heart,
106
what's happening in Jannah, what's happening in Jahannam.
107
What does Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam say?
108
He says, رَجُلٌ نَوَّرَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ عَرَفْتَ فَلْزَمْ He says, أَبْصَرْتَ فَلْزَمْ In another narration he says,
109
a man that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala put nur in his heart, you get it, you know this معرفة is correct,
110
أَبْصَرْتَ now you can see, you're truly seeing with your heart, Arafta falzam Stick to this, be steadfast with this Wow
111
Before we dive back in Let's take a second to reflect Because what's the point of understanding the dunya
112
If we're not doing our part for the akhira Right now, across the world Millions are struggling Just to survive
113
But there are people who refuse to look away Humanity is
114
on the ground In over 25 countries Across 5 continents From Africa to Asia Delivering food, water and medical aid where it's most needed.
115
From Gaza to Syria, Yemen and beyond.
116
Families are enduring the unimaginable.
117
But with your help, humanity is providing hope.
118
And look, we know that trust matters when it comes to charity.
119
That's why we've done our homework.
120
We don't just raise our voices for anyone.
121
We chose humanity because we trust them.
122
They're out there, on the ground, doing the real work.
123
Making sure every dollar goes exactly where it should.
124
Be the blessing with humanity.
125
Head to wearehumanity.org now.
126
The link is in the description.
127
Give your sadaqah, give your zakat.
128
Be the reason someone's prayers are answered.
129
So ultimately, this is it, man.
130
The whole point is to work on myself
131
to develop this iman in the heart and not get tricked with what I'm seeing through perception.
132
Because Allah says, Allah has filters on this dunya.
133
So it's a test from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
134
What's the test?
135
Are you going to believe what you see with your eyes?
136
Or are you going to believe what Allah tells you in the Quran?
137
How lucky are you if you really know, if you have the basira,
138
if you have the nur that could guide you and you could see what are you living for?
139
How many of us right now, Usama, are living for the Akhira?
140
How many of us are doing good deeds for the Akhira?
141
Not in this dunya.
142
We are not building anything for this dunya.
143
How many?
144
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he says in the Quran, minkum, two categories.
145
Minkum man yureedu al dunya wa minkum man yureedu al akhira.
146
There are those that are chasing after what?
147
Their desires.
148
They want to fulfill the desires in this dunya.
149
They're running after the dunya and there are those of you that are running after the Akhirah.
150
The issue is if you're a slave to your desires in this dunya by being free, bro, I'm free.
151
I've got freedom.
152
I can do whatever I want.
153
No limits.
154
Liberty and freedom for all.
155
Okay, great.
156
But the problem is if you're free here, you're going to be a slave in Akhirah.
157
And the opposite.
158
And the opposite.
159
If you're a slave to Allah's commands here, you're going to be free in Jannah, in Akhirah.
160
Wow.
161
But I wanted to, there's a very important point here.
162
Look at how Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala teaches Musa not to rely on his senses.
163
He says you can't rely on those.
164
So he says, وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ So Musa alayhi salam, what does he say?
165
He says, It's, قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَا It's my staff.
166
أَتَوَكَّعُ عَلَيْهَا Meaning I lean on it.
167
It's a means of استعانة.
168
It aids me.
169
It helps me.
170
And in the Quran, what do you say?
171
You say, إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين Every day we're lying to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala We're saying, only on you we rely
172
But we're always asking from makhluk With the heart There's no issue to ask from makhluk With your tongue
173
If your heart's connected to Allah But we see the current condition of the ummah Unfortunately,
174
we need a lot of work So then he says وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِي Meaning, it's a means of my sustenance Okay,
175
so it provides for me وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَى And I've got many benefits in it Okay, now here's the lesson That's what you see, O Musa?
176
That's what I see He says, قَالَ أَلْقِهَا He says, now drop it He wants to remove that from the heart of what?
177
From the heart of Musa, alayhi salam فَأَلْقَاهَا فَإِذَا هِيَّ حَيَّةُ تَسْعَى All of a sudden,
178
Allah completely switches up all the attributes First it was his, now he wants nothing to do with it Right?
179
He's scared of the snake Secondly, he says it's a means He says for help, for aiding me Now, typically, you don't seek help from a snake Right?
180
Because he sees harm in the snake
181
So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala switches up all the attributes to teach him
182
And Musa gets scared But then he calls him back
183
And he says He says grab it and don't fear Don't be scared What is he teaching him?
184
He's showing that the true nafi' is Allah, based on that iman.
185
Okay, nice.
186
So when the iman is now rectified, now Musa, he's teaching him that, no, no, no, no, benefit is not from the staff.
187
I am the nafi'.
188
Ultimately, you have to look beyond the means.
189
Right, absolutely.
190
So this is an important perception to teach, or important lesson, to teach Musa that you can't rely on what you see.
191
Nice.
192
Before setting the qibla of your salah, you've got to set the qibla of your heart.
193
The heart has to be first directed towards Allah.
194
And that is why Allah sent the Prophet ﷺ not to change the conditions of the people directly. To change.
195
But to work and change their hearts so that there is a shift from yaqeen on makhluk to yaqeen on khaliq. On khaliq.
196
Beautiful.
197
Another story said, Usama, how people always believe in others more than in God, or they lean on people in dunya.
198
Let's say somebody needs money, and he goes to ask somebody, another person.
199
Okay.
200
If the guy tells him, I got you the money, or if the guy literally told him, okay, just give me one minute, I'm going to get you the money from Mo.
201
So and so.
202
He'll feel comfortable.
203
Oh, good.
204
He's going to make a phone call to Mo.
205
We're good.
206
What if he told him, why don't you ask Allah?
207
He's gonna think, he's gonna be like, bro, I need the money now.
208
Do you have it or no?
209
The guy's gonna be like, right?
210
The guy's gonna be like, ask Allah, pray at night, and have your heart completely with Allah and ask what do you want from Allah.
211
There was this thing with Pavlov's dog, a Russian that made an experiment.
212
Every time he'd put food in front of the dog, the dog would start to drool and eat.
213
So he wanted to test something.
214
What he did is he would ring a bell and then put the food in front of the dog.
215
The dog would eat.
216
He would drool and eat.
217
He'd ring the bell, then put the food.
218
He would drool and eat.
219
Until one time, he rang the bell and he didn't put the food.
220
What do you think happened to the dog?
221
He drooled.
222
Because he was conditioned to believe.
223
He linked the sound of the bell with the appearance of the food.
224
That's what he was conditioned to believe.
225
So likewise, most of because we see with our eyes the effect of asbab.
226
Man, look, when I have money, my problem is solved.
227
When I don't have money my problem is not solved
228
so his heart so when he goes to
229
that person he says you know somebody he says do you
230
know somebody he says yes I know the one Allah subhanahu ta'ala
231
but then he's like okay okay that's great bro
232
but do you really know he's like bro I know I'm
233
gonna pray don't worry about this he put it on a
234
side it's like okay I'm gonna pray for sure I'm gonna ask Allah
235
but right now I need someone to give me the money now absolutely it's Allah you go ask a nas
236
while you have Rabbin Nas that's where we have I think
237
that's a good scale to measure your Iman in these beautiful
238
in these points in these times of your life that's where
239
you can test your Iman where does the heart turn yes
240
where does it go first probably at the time of need yes
241
and especially the dire need right because the The issue is Allah says in the Quran, what does he say?
242
He says, Someone, Allah says, Allah created this human being weak.
243
Anybody that's weak has needs, no?
244
Okay, so the minute you have a need, Allah, does he look at you or does he look in your heart?
245
Your heart.
246
So the minute you have a need, he's interested, not that you're gonna take the asbab.
247
Allah wants you to utilize the means.
248
He just doesn't want you to rely on the means.
249
So now he's checking your heart.
250
Where is it turning the minute he gets hungry?
251
Where is the going?
252
Yes.
253
The minute you have a major problem in your life, does your heart first turn to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
254
And then taking the means is no problem.
255
So that's a good litmus test.
256
I like to tell people, the next time you're sick, see if your heart first turns to medicine or to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
257
Wow.
258
Musa alayhis salaam.
259
He came to Allah, he says, he says, yeah, Allah, I'm sick.
260
So Allah tells him, go, there's this leaf.
261
eat from this leaf.
262
So Musa goes eats from the leaf he gets better.
263
After some time Musa gets sick again.
264
So this time Musa what does he do naturally?
265
He goes back to the same leaf.
266
He consumes the leaf but this time he didn't get better.
267
He didn't go back to Allah first.
268
So he went to Allah
269
and he asked him he says Ya Allah he said the first time
270
when you got sick you came to me and then so I cured you through that leaf.
271
He said but the second time you went to the sebab directly.
272
I left you and the means on your own.
273
The means are dead without Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
274
People think they get full because of food.
275
People think exactly what you said.
276
People think they cure because of medicine.
277
People think they're not thirsty no more because of water.
278
Absolutely.
279
And that's an issue.
280
I remember every time my son would get sick, my wife would call me, did you get Tylenol?
281
You know, we need some Tylenol.
282
He's sick.
283
I said, did you pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
284
The first thing we need to do the minute some issue happens
285
Because our children are so close to our hearts So it's a good test
286
You know the minute your son or your daughter gets sick It's like I'm ready to do anything But what's faster?
287
Calling 911 or calling Allah?
288
Allah أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُطَّرَّ إِذَا دَعَى
289
It is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala The one
290
that is desperate Allah says I cannot I'm not saying don't call for help Don't call for 911
291
But before you do anything it doesn't even take a second.
292
Ya Allah, this is a test from you to see where my heart is going to turn.
293
Ya Allah, look at Sulaiman alayhis salam.
294
What busied him from the dhikr of Allah, from remembering the prayer?
295
He was looking at his horses, he was looking at them, some people say they were like unicorns flying around and he was mesmerized by them.
296
So he was distracted by them from the command of Allah.
297
We don't wanna be distracted at all.
298
So the test is every time you're hungry, train yourself to first set your qibla, the heart qibla, the compass to Allah,
299
then go towards the food.
300
Who satiates hunger? Who?
301
Allah.
302
Allah.
303
Who quenches thirst?
304
Allah.
305
Allah. Who cures?
306
Allah.
307
وَإِذَا مَرِدْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِيمُ Not in the medicine.
308
Wow.
309
Beautifully said.
310
Wallahi, I'm so happy.
311
I know I'm the second half of you in this podcast.
312
I love it, man.
313
I love to listen to you a thousand times.
314
Okay, Osama, a lot of people needs to know how to strength their Iman, where they stand in their Iman.
315
What's the effort they need to put in Iman?
316
Absolutely, and it requires an effort because Allah says, those who struggle in us,
317
meaning in our commands, we will guide them our ways.
318
Why the command?
319
Because when Allah's command comes, sometimes it doesn't align with your desires.
320
So there's a struggle to go from Hawa to Huda, to do whatever I want, to do whatever Allah wants.
321
To do that, your Iman has to be lit.
322
It has to be stronger.
323
So it's a great question.
324
How is it that we increase this Iman?
325
So, and the Sahaba said, Ta'alamna al-Iman.
326
So Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, for 13 years in Mecca, all the verses in the Quran are about what?
327
There's no ahkam in the Quran.
328
Pray, fast, zakah, hajj, all that came in the Medina era, most of it.
329
But it was all focused on the greatness of Allah, on the unseen help of Allah, on the stories of the prophets to do what to the sahaba?
330
To increase that iman.
331
This was the key.
332
So now how do we do it?
333
Look, what does the adhan start with?
334
Allahu Akbar.
335
Beautiful.
336
Four times.
337
Yes.
338
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
339
And then it's repeated.
340
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
341
Four times we're saying Allah is greater.
342
Allah is greater.
343
And now, أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله.
344
Now we're saying the kalima.
345
The kalima of iman.
346
It's as if Allah, what is he telling you?
347
He says, until I become great in your heart, the kalima won't take its proper effect in your heart.
348
So now, okay.
349
So بدك تكبر.
350
You want to glorify Allah.
351
You want to talk about the greatness of Allah and the insignificance of makhluk with your tongue.
352
Ya ayyuhal muddathir, qum fa'anzir.
353
How ya Allah, what should I tell the people?
354
Wa rabbaka fakabbir.
355
Glorify your Lord.
356
That's the whole point.
357
Okay, so now you go out with people, you talk about the greatness of Allah, what happens?
358
Now Allah becomes great in your heart, iman becomes solid.
359
After this kalima becomes solid, the kalima la ilaha illallah becomes solid, now you're always returning to Allah.
360
First, what we call inaba.
361
You're always like, always going back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and everything.
362
Why?
363
Because you know that he's the controller of everything.
364
So now, if you're always turning back to Allah in everything that's happening in your life, your iman is going to increase.
365
I seeked happiness in this life after my inaba reversing back to Allah was in its peak.
366
Subhanallah.
367
That's where literally the most happiness, the most peace I ever felt, Allah, it's whatever happens, even stuff I used to look at before,
368
I wasn't like, I didn't take it back to Allah, it's because of Allah, this is happening because of Allah.
369
I used to take of asbab first.
370
The asbab used to make life very bad in my eyes.
371
Okay.
372
When I start to look at it, it's by Allah.
373
Take it back to Allah, where it started, where the main reason came from, where the main amr came from, I started enjoying it.
374
SubhanAllah.
375
It's different.
376
But what did you notice?
377
When your iman would increase, did you feel more motivated to do good deeds?
378
That's how I look at it.
379
Iman, deeds, results.
380
These are directly connected together.
381
Directly.
382
Subhanallah.
383
Iman, deeds, results.
384
Me in the past, I used to make some music videos.
385
Don't tell nobody.
386
Allah mustahha.
387
Only you guys.
388
Wallahi, my Iman increased.
389
What good deed I made is I stopped doing music.
390
After I stopped doing music, the results of life became beautiful.
391
Subhanallah.
392
Me, I started it by the Iman.
393
My Iman increased.
394
I stopped this.
395
This changed.
396
But whatever changes first, even if right now the results are not the happiest that you need in life, check your deeds.
397
What are you doing wrong?
398
What are you doing right?
399
If you're doing great here, check your deeds.
400
You're doing something absolutely God loves.
401
SubhanAllah.
402
And then if you go back a little bit, you'll realize that your Iman is starting to increase.
403
So it's beautiful, man.
404
You can know where you fall.
405
If your results right now, you're listening to us.
406
The results in your life right now is that it's worst, check your deeds, check your Iman.
407
If you don't want to check your deeds, check your Iman.
408
If you don't want to check your Iman, check your deeds.
409
What's going on?
410
What are you doing right or wrong?
411
Where am I dropping the ball?
412
And that's where you know you're falling.
413
And that's how it affected me.
414
And that's how I realized, alhamdulillah, my Iman, I feel it's good.
415
I'm still working on it.
416
It's not perfect.
417
The deeds, I'm doing both good and bad, but I'm focusing on the good deeds.
418
SubhanAllah.
419
I'm trying to decrease the bad deeds.
420
Bro, it's a verse in the Quran.
421
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى So here what's interesting,
422
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي Whoever turns his back on my, ذكر here what I heard from the mashayikh means obedience.
423
يعني من أعرض عن طاعة Whoever turns his back to my obedience, he begins disobeying me فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا Some of the scholars they said,
424
A bankah is a very depressed life.
425
A bank, yes.
426
Yeah, depressed, problem after problem.
427
And you're wondering, then people go, why is my life such a mess?
428
Another thing we used to hear from the Mashayikh, salahul ahwali bi salah al-a'mal wa salahul ahmali bi salah al-yaqeen.
429
So when we fix our iman and the iman increases,
430
you're going to feel motivated to do the a'mal that's going to fix your akhira.
431
You're going to become more Akhira oriented Than dunya Than dunya
432
And when this happens now Your deeds are rectified They're proper تَصْعُدُ الْأَعْمَالِ وَتَتَنَزَّلِ الْأَحْوَالِ Good deeds uploaded
433
Equals good situations downloaded From Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
434
Bad deeds uploaded Equals difficult and challenging situations
435
But get this It's not so much always a punishment From Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala It's never a punishment Well, it might be.
436
I'm sorry about that.
437
No, no, no. It might be a punishment.
438
No, it's okay.
439
It could be a punishment.
440
I'll tell you why.
441
Because if you have closed the door on Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and you don't have that guilt feeling,
442
your nafs is not the nafs where it's like whenever I do bad, I feel guilty, but I continue to do the bad.
443
You're good.
444
It's when you have that nafs You're just constantly going, you don't care, whatever man, I do whatever I do.
445
Most of us are in that state of lawama, we're going back and forth.
446
The reason Allah is sending you these difficult situations is he wants to, it's like Allah going, didda.
447
It's like Allah is slapping you on your hand, be like, wake up, man.
448
Come on, man.
449
Come on, man.
450
Come on, man.
451
Come on, man.
452
Please, man.
453
Fix yourself here.
454
I'm trying.
455
There's a saying for Ibn Atah, close meaning to the effect, who doesn't come to Allah willingly out of his sheer blessings and mercy,
456
then Allah will drag him towards him with the chains of tribulation, with the tests of this dunya.
457
So Allah will create such situations like, why do I have all these problems?
458
He wants you back.
459
Yes.
460
Allah, you feel constricted.
461
Problems after problems after problems challenges, issues in your life.
462
Why?
463
Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants to bring you back.
464
The whole point is when you make an effort on that iman through talking about Allah, glorifying Allah, reading the Quran,
465
increasing in your dhikr, then your iman increases, then your deeds are rectified, then the situations and conditions in your life are set.
466
Usama, is there something in the Quran that relates to if we do better, we'll have better results?
467
Absolutely.
468
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he says,
469
If you do good, if you fix your deeds,
470
you're going to have a good life.
471
But there's another verse about barakat.
472
All of a sudden, it's exactly what you said.
473
When you stopped making the music, you found so many, like your life got so much better.
474
Did you find that there were new sort of opportunities in your life?
475
Things opened up for you?
476
Things are a lot easier?
477
That's the B factor, the Barakah factor.
478
Usama, give me the formula of increasing Iman.
479
So everybody right now listening and watching could start on it right now.
480
Beautiful.
481
إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا
482
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling the Prophet ﷺ
483
that you have a lot of work to do in the daytime of da'wah.
484
So that's the secret.
485
Talk about the name of your Lord.
486
And don't mention anybody else.
487
That's what I bet.
488
Because whatever you talk about spreads.
489
Whatever you talk about, if you're always talking about Allah.
490
And then Allah tells you what to say.
491
The ayah right after it.
492
He's teaching the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam what to do and this is the formula.
493
Talk about the greatness of Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la.
494
Glorify Allah.
495
The kalima of Tawheed becomes solid.
496
You begin to always return to Allah in everything that you do and see.
497
Your iman increases.
498
Your deeds become rectified.
499
the conditions in your life become good.
500
Iman, deported.
501
Yes, you nailed it!
502
You nailed it!
503
Alhamdulillah.
504
Thank you.
