I want to write a song for Lisa.
3
I want to tell everyone about her.
4
Mr and Mrs Brown smile.
5
What a nice idea, his mum says.
6
Thanks, Al.
7
Al phones his friends.
8
He meets them at Ben's house.
9
He says sorry.
10
Then he tells them all about Lisa and the song.
11
Emma looks at Mick and Ben.
12
What do you think, boys?
13
Can Al come back to the band now?
14
She asks.
15
Yes, Ben laughs.
16
We need him.
17
My brother can't play the guitar at all.
18
And he can't write songs, Mick says.
19
I've got an idea, Emma says.
20
We can play Al's new song at our gig.
21
What gig?
22
Al asks.
23
The gig for Lisa, Emma says.
24
People can pay at the door.
25
With their help, Lisa can have her operation.
26
Good idea, Ben cries excitedly.
27
Let's tell people about it on our website.
28
So Mick puts the day and time of their next gig up on the band's website.
29
Two weeks later, after lots of work, the band plays at Al's school.
30
Al's family and friends are there.
31
Late in the evening, Al sings Lisa's song.
32
Some people from the radio are there too.
33
They record the song.
34
Next day, Al and his friends look at the money from the gig.
35
How much is there?
36
Can Lisa have her operation now?
37
Thank you.
38
Thank you.
